P & C Association

The P & C Association of the Armadale Primary School has an excellent record of parent involvement with the school. All parents are welcome to join the Association and attend meetings, which are held twice each term (week 2 Friday after assembly 9:30am-10:30am on Area 5 and week 8 Wednesday in the Staff Room from 6:30pm-7:30pm).

The P & C Annual General meeting takes place on the second Wednesday of Term 1. New, enthusiastic and committed members are always needed. All parents are asked to continue to fully support P & C fund raising activities, since monies are directly allocated to student resources and facilities.

Donations

As part of the P&C Association’s policy, each year it contributes funds to a range of school projects such as:

  • athletics and swimming medallions and ribbons;
  • new playground equipment;
  • honour and graduation certificates;
  • subsidy for the Year 6 graduation; and
  • end-of-year book awards for consistent achiever and citizenship for each Area.

The P & C Voluntary Donation of $50.00 per family was introduced in 2003 and many parents pay this donation when purchasing their child/ren’s pupil requirements in the week prior to the commencement of the school year.
